According to Bernanke, the recession was likely over after a
year Lehman Brothers collapse. The recovery will be slow and creating jobs will
not be easy since employment changes in the long run.
According to U.S Commerce Department retail sales rose 2.7 percent
in August. It decreased 0.2 percent in July. There are direct relationship
between retail sales and recovery.
